
If there's one thing I've learned through this photographic journey, it's this: perspective is everything. When something catches your eye, take a moment to look at it from different angles. Walk around it, look at it from above, squat down and look up at it, get really close, pull back and put it in context. Taking the easy shot is not usually the one that'll take your breath away. Don't hesitate to get your pants dirty by crawling on the ground. Lie on your back and shoot from underneath. You'll be surprised by the way things look from down there.
