As much as I hate to admit it, the end of summer is here. We are back to school and all the routines that come with it. Early mornings, studying, swim practice, and schedule juggling. Backpacks, books, and charged laptops are at the forefront of our thoughts. Dues dates, swim meets, volunteer duties, and doctor appointments for an aging and ill parent makes for a full calendar.
I know, I know it's not officially fall; however, in my mind, Labor Day is the marker that let's me know I better be ready. While, we are extremely busy in this season of life, it also means I can pull out the jeans and boots. Crisp, cool morning air will greet me when I take the dog out. I look forward to sweaters and watching my breath rise as I call the dog back to the house.
