The happiest of accidents 291/366

There are times when I'm out with my camera trying to make it do what I want it to do. I am slow and very deliberate. Wanting to catch the sunlight falling at just a certain angle, I will persevere and take 50 photos before getting the settings just the way I want them.

Then there are other times when I accidentally press the shutter. Maybe I have totally and randomly pressed the small silver button or I am am half pressing and holding to set the exposure and it clicks.
Maybe some of the above issues are happening and I have forgotten to back button focus so the subject is totally out of focus.

When this happens, I usually delete and move on. This time, I chose to leave it and move on. How glad I was! When I loaded them onto the computer, I saw these dreamy looking shots of the tree and the sun streaming through the leaves.

And then I started fiddling around with it in Photoshop and converted it to black and white. Now, I can't decide which I like better.

This is a great reminder not to delete 'accidents' from the camera.
