Last weekend before the time change 307/366
Sitting on my deck looking out to the woods, I am filled with gratitude. There is so much in my life to be thankful for starting with the deliciously warm weather we are having today. Being nice enough for yoga pants and bare feet, I wandered around feeling the dry, brown grass under my toes. The warm sun on my face made me long for a nap in my hammock.
Instead, I worked on homework for my Clickin Moms photo class. My assignment this week is to photograph in full sun. It's a time I normally avoid, partially because I have one fair skinned, blue eyed daughter who can't open her eyes in bright light.
I took a lot of photos working on focus and exposure. Changing settings and chimping every few shots, I had the kids and the dog out there. They stood facing the sun, with their backs to the sun, and in the shade. What would I do without free labor?
I'll be looking at photos and playing in my new Lightroom 4 program. Yep, that and basking in the warmth of the sunshine.
