Admiration 64/365

Our school sponsored a literary tea today. Each child was tasked with memorizing a poem, song, or passage of scripture to be presentd to the student body and guests. Watching each child shine doing what they felt led to do and what they were good at made for a very enjoyable afternoon.

A favorite of mine was the 3rd/4th grade class and their rendition of The Missing Piece by Shel Silverstein. Their presentation skills as a group was awesome!

About mid-way through the tea, these two young ladies came around and sat on the floor together to be closer to the action. They laughed and giggled pointing out parts they thought were funny.

Oh, to be young again.
