I've wandered the grounds of the hospital to give myself a break from the day-to-day roller coaster that is neuro critical care. This event has been physically and emotionally exhausting.
While walking around the lake, I noticed this plant. I've never seen anything like it. A lady stopped and explained that she didn't know the real name but that some call it the Crown of Thorns. There are beautiful pink flowers that change colors based on the temperature atop the thorny stalks; however, I was more intrigued by the thorns. I've not had time to research it more but I want to take a shoot home with me. Maybe.
